Students following the intensive violin course come from Spain, Corea, Germany, United States, Japan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Yougoslavia, Russia, Georgia, Latin America and Switzerland.

Ranking amongst the few leading violin schools in the world, The Kayaleh Violin Academy trains young violinists for stage performance. Courses are based on the concept of intensive practice where students benefit from strict and thorough surveillance covering every aspect of their daily work.

On one hand, it offers candidates the specialised guidance for a concert career. On the other hand, it shapes them for chamber music and orchestral demands.

The academy prepares and presents the students to international competitions. During the course, every student is also provided with pedagogical experience.

Additionally, the academy supports and helps musicians who graduate with a Performer's Diploma in the debut of their career.

School's Location and Programmes

The Academy is located in Crans-près-Céligny, one of the most beautiful regions of Suisse Romande, along the Leman Lake. It is situated half-way between Geneva and Lausanne, which makes it accessible for students to attend major cultural activities in theses cities, whilst profiting from unique working conditions in Crans' inspiring environment, within which their music dialogues with that of nature.

The academy offers a full-time study programme. The programme is adapted to the personality and needs of every student.

The academy accepts students for any length of time. However, the normal course of study covers three to five years depending on the student's evolution.

Students whose technical level is not compatible with the academy's first year's requirements follow a preparatory course.
